- The DEADLINE to apply for your degree and ensure that your name is included in the 2026 Commencement Program is: Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
- PLEASE NOTE: If you are approved for a degree, you will receive an email and an SRJC portal announcement inviting you to participate in the 2026 Commencement.
Commencement Information
Commencement will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 8:00 AM at Bailey Field. Tickets will be required for each guest in attendance (except children under the age of 2 who will need to sit on a lap). Click the Commencement 2026 Events link below for more information.
NOTE: Students wanting to participate in this year's Commencement MUST complete the participation form. Beginning in April, the participation form will be included in the Commencement Invitation letter sent to graduates and candidates in their student portal.
For anyone who does not have a ticket for the in-person event, you may watch a live stream of the ceremony from any device at Commencement 2026 | Events and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home.
Student Speaker Scholarship
Apply for your certificate
To receive a certificate of achievement or a skills certificate, a student is required to submit an “Application for Certificate.” This online application should be submitted as soon as the student has registered for classes in the semester they intend to receive their certificate.
